More Than Money" exhibition

November 11 at the Primorsky State Picture Gallery opened the exhibition "More than money", dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Sberbank.

The exhibition features over 200 unique exhibits from the collections of numismatics and bonistics of the "RARITY" antique gallery, supplemented by investment coins from the collection of Sberbank.

In the safe-room you will see coins of the 16th century, silver kopecks from the time of Ivan the Terrible, as well as exhibits from the 18th century. Visitors can get acquainted with the collection of palace money from the time of Elizaveta Petrovna, Catherine's imperial, gold chervonets. Also you can see the silver rubles from the times of Peter the Great, Anna Ioannovna, Elizaveta Petrovna, Catherine the Great, Alexander I, commemorative rubles issued in the reign of Nicholas I, Alexander II, Nicholas II and in the Soviet time until the issue of gold investment coins "Saint George the Victorious" model of 2021.

The special part of the exposition is the banknotes that were issued in Vladivostok during the Civil War, and the Soviet money: gold chervontsi, commemorative roubles, represented in several series, investment coins.

We remind you that you can visit the halls of the Primorsky Art Gallery only if you have an identity card and one or more of the following documents:

- a certificate of a negative PCR test, valid for 72 hours.

Young guests up to 18 years of age (with personal protective equipment) can visit the gallery without providing a QR code!
