Recycle Group. New Nature/New Nature
Exhibition December 17, 2021 − March 13, 2022
The Vinzavod Center for Contemporary Art presents a grand exhibition by the Recycle Group art duo, titled "New Nature/New Nature".
In the exhibition, Recycle Group's works are scattered throughout the territory of Vinzavod. And interactive objects and dynamic installations turn viewers into participants in a virtual and technological performance. By comparing themselves to metronomes and unfolding their project in three dimensions - material, spiritual, and virtual - the Recycle Group seeks to anticipate and foresee ideas that will form the basis of future art.
The first thematic section of the exhibition brings together works related to the recycling of classical images and referring the viewer to the artistic and cultural heritage of past centuries. The second section of the exhibition presents works in which artists explore the specifics of "machine vision. The exposition concludes with the third thematic section, suggesting a new format of perception of art through augmented reality. The result is a digital layer, inaccessible to the human eye without the use of a smartphone, but an important part of the semantic and visual content of the object.
