“I HeART Connections” Community Art Show of the Art Therapy Institute (USA)

Virtual Opening: “I HeART Connections” Community Art Show is held on February 11, 2022 @ 6:00PM — 8:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada). The Art Therapy Institute helds this a special community art show to remind us the power of connection and honoring to our collective hope and resilience. The virtual opening of this exhibition celebrates the elevating artistic voices from members of the ATI community. Participation in this virtual opening and art show are free and open to all members of the community. This Zoom online opening will be an opportunity to connect with fellow artists and participants and share stories and art. The online exhibition will run from February 11th through March 10th.

Art Therapy Institute asked artists to submit artwork reflecting personal connections and to consider the following questions:
How have you connected more deeply with yourself?
With the creative process? With nature? With others?
With humor? With feelings?
What connection do you hope to nourish?
What connections have you built?
As a bonus challenge, artists were asked
to include a hidden heart for the viewer to uncover.
