Yves Saint Laurent in museums

Exhibition January 29 − May 15, 2022
The Musée d'Orsay, together with the Centre Pompidou, the Musée d'Art Moderne, the Musée du Louvre, the Musée National Picasso, and the Musée Yves Saint Laurent in Paris, presents the exhibition "Yves Saint Laurent in Museums".

The project illustrates the continuity and profound unity of the connections that the couturier has with art as well as with French public collections. Through his models a whole culture, a whole artistic universe is expressed. Because in his creative power, Yves Saint Laurent conveys with rigor and imagination the entire creative and plastic heritage of the world anew.

From this perspective, the large-scale exhibition project examines in detail the work of Yves Saint Laurent, permeated by different cultures and times, traces the creative path, conveys the spirit and style of the era of the great couturier, recreates the creative dialogue between the collections of the best Parisian museums.
