In the gallery "PRIVATE COLLECTION" a new solo exhibition of talented and original artist Oleg Gorokhov opened "Peacemaking.".
The exhibition presents bright paintings filled with light and warmth of the author, calming works - something that everyone wants to feel now.
The artist from Akademgorodok - Oleg Gorokhov has a whole arsenal of expressive means to evoke a response in the soul of the viewer by his kind creations. He takes us into a wonderful and cozy looking-glass, where any funny story brings us almost childlike delight, emotion and a smile. Primitivism is increasingly rare in the work of his contemporaries and the more valuable it becomes. The style is simultaneously easy and complex, identified by Gorokhov with vital irony and literary poetry. Oleg is fluent in any pictorial language, for the topics deliberately chooses familiar and concise images, helps and personal observations. Even the most ordinary ideas under the brush Gorokhov charged unique author's warmth and humor, sound in beautiful harmony.
On closer inspection, the multilayered and complex works are scattered with their variegated colors. And the "rough strokes" of the surface bring us right up close to the characters, immersing us in the atmosphere of the story.
