Anthropogeny: the origins, subject, body. Yevgeny Shapovalov

Art-gallery "Manufactura" is a solo exhibition of Chernihiv artist Evgenia Shapovalova titled "Anthropogenesis: origins, subject, body". Anthropogeny literally means the emergence and development (Genesis) of man (Anthropos) in a broad sense. In the context of art and this exhibition is the evolution of humanity through the manifestations of its ancient cultures, works, objects, as well as showing the people themselves without superfluous decorations.

In search of his own style using the original technique, the author finds unexpected solutions. His works can be traced interesting thoughts about everyday things, and the classic stories are revealed in modern background. The eroticism in his paintings is a special look at the woman, trying to peek into the secret world of his desires and instincts. The painter combines incongruous, mix of different techniques: pastel and oil, drawing and painting, easy to change genres, going from still life to landscape, from Nude to portrait.

Yevgeny Shapovalov was born in 1986 in Simferopol. Member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine, the repeated participant of regional and all-Ukrainian exhibitions and international projects. The winner of the all-Ukrainian plein air "Best art" (Vinnitsa, 2017).
