Alexander Pankin "The Head"

Exhibition of the famous Moscow artist-analyst Alexander Pankin takes place within the framework of the multi-year project Krokin Gallery "Archiving Modernity."
The name of the exhibition is addressed to the program theme of the artist, who has been studying the shape of a person's head for more than half a century, the feature of portrait features and mimic tension, which in aggregate creates an expressive spatial-plastic image-sign.
The basis of the exposition consists of graphic sheets and paintings that reflect the stages of the development of this topic, starting from the mid-1960s to the present.
