About the exhibition
11 October in the gallery hosted the opening of the exhibition "Wedding our parents." The exhibition reveals a little-known side of the so-called socialist realism. Here you will not see farm fields, construction sites and factories, heroes of labor and pioneers. The main theme of the paintings in the exhibition is Komsomolskaya wedding - ceremony of the painting, the feast, the happy faces of friends and relatives, happy bride and groom. Only 17 monumental paintings of the 70-ies of XX century, artists such as Century Gurin, O. Titov, S. Filipenko, S. Lukin, F. Khokhlov, V. Kucherenko, M. Lelchuk and others.
