Alexander Aleksandrovich Deineka is considered one of the founders of social realism. Most of the general public are known mainly easel, large-scale works of the artist, in the shadow of a long time remained his skill draftsman.
The exhibition shows a little-known part of Deineka's creative heritage, allows you to more deeply understand the scale of the talent of the artist, who became a symbol of his era.
The exhibition presents all sides of Deineka's graphics, ranging from samples of drawings from the early period of the author's work: the first children's experiments, student sketches and the artist’s experiments in the field of engraving.
Many of the works presented at the exhibition are part of the artist’s family archive, which has never been presented in such a volume and with such a complete overview of the entire creative path of the author.
