Gerasimovich Burov

Painter, graphic artist, sculptor. Graduated from Moscow. VKHUTEMAS (1926), pupil of A. Osmerkin and A. Golubkina. A member of AHRR. He lived in Ivanovo, and then in Moscow. Through The Efforts Of N. G. Burov and his friends were created by Ivanovo-Voznesensky branch of the Association of artists of Russia.
Denounced repressed. He served in the Ussuri region and on the construction of the channel "Moscow-Volga". The war on the labor front near Moscow. In 1943, the head of the Union of Soviet artists and the President of the Academy of arts of A. M. Gerasimov has seen fit to give N. G. Burova advance copy of his monograph with the autograph: "T. Burova. A brave fighter for Russian art. 1943, June, 13. A. Gerasimov".After the war N. G. Burov was expelled from the Union of artists, from teachers of the Ivanovo art school.Themed paintings "the Shooting of workers in Ivanovo-Voznesensk in 1905" (1926), "Combat patrol" (1939), "the Partisans" (1947), portraits, landscapes, sculptural portraits of A. Pushkin (1954), Mikhail Frunze (1959), etc.
