A landscape painter. Genre painter was Born in Moscow, died in 1972. Studied in 1920-1925 in Vhuteine (VKhUTEMAS) under p. P. Konchalovsky. The founder of the company "Genesis". Participant of art exhibitions since 1918. Major works: series of paintings and portraits on the theme of collective farms (1930-1940), a series of still lifes and landscapes (1920-1972) (MC of the USSR and RSFSR, the Union of artists of the USSR and RSFSR).

In 1921 he graduated from the Higher artistic and technical workshops (VKHUTEMAS), where he studied under p. P. Konchalovsky.

In 1921, together with alumni VKhUTEMAS was organized by artistic Association "Genesis" (lasted until 1929, held 6 exhibitions). He was also a member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia.

Fine painter. The author is lyrical in mood landscapes, still lifes. Belonged to the younger generation, "Russian sezannistov", whose work was characterized by a fascination with the picturesque French culture.

Constant participant of exhibitions, including took part in the exhibition "Artists of the Russian Federation over fifteen years" (Moscow, 1933).

Works are in State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, in many regional museums of Russia. He died in Moscow.
