Description of the artwork «Layers»
I drew this picture at the age of 21; it was one of the periods when my personality was forming. At that time, I was interested in many issues, one of them being the structure of society. Then I wanted to reflect it on canvas.
This picture consists of three layers. The upper middle class and poor class are distinguished by the following colors: white-gray and black. White - successful and rich. Gray - large middle class. Black - poor layer. One can also notice the presence of strokes of light or dark shades of color, thereby drawing attention to the difference and diversity within the layers themselves.
My painting does not carry a positive or negative image, it is just my attempts to answer my own questions.
