“Invisible Power/The Lost and Regaining World” The main idea of the art object is invisible protection which is embodied into fine wires or transparent acrylic glass softly and carefully enveloping a blue sphere.
The stylized globe symbolizes worldwide dissemination.
Since a load of making a world a better place way too heavy for carrying, the globe is metal. I have chosen fine, transparent materials for Earth armor because the reason why homo sapiens have been running the world was not our physical strength among other species but intangible human intelligence which is with each passing day enlarge the horizons of the possible and achieves prodigious feats. Because onlyHomo sapiens can cooperate in extremely flexible ways with countless numbers of strangers.
I have chosen it because people are still fragile in the face of eternity but they have a powerful, inexplicable strength of spirit, creativity, and thinking that can literally bring us “per Aspera ad Astra”.
