Description of the artwork «"Composition No. 20" by Iskan»
Having more than 200 brushes and sometimes letting 20 brushes on one canvas for each session, this time I adhered to minimalism not only in the style of the picture, but also in the means to achieve it. I used only three colors and three brushes: blue OLD HOLLAND BlueDeep, orange # 619 DALER ROWNEY Georgian and burnt umber # 492 MAIMERI CLASSICO, but didn’t count it off because they are not COLOR.
At first, the sky was monophonic, then I tried to make it in different tones. Then he puffed curls of curls, then diagonally held a dark cloud and quickly removed it. I did not want a static sky, and divorces give dynamics. Then I took away a lot of dynamics in this sky.
I kind of found a balance between the metaphysical static that I don’t need and the fact that I wanted an even color of a monochromatic light without nuances, because the shirt pushes it. And the gray color with divorces at the top is dangerous for multicolor in the picture. Gray is generally dangerous.
