Was born in 1909. in Nikolaev. In 1940 he graduated from the Kiev art Institute. He studied under F. Krichevsky and M. Sharonov. From 1941 he worked in Almaty. Participant of exhibitions since 1940. The art of M. S. Lizogub devoted to the intimate, domestic scenes. She was particularly attracted to the image of the Kazakh woman, her wisdom and fortitude, as an epic of national character. Appealing to her and the colorful interior of the Kazakh Yurt – like habitat, and in many ways – as a matter of skillful women's hands.
