Born in the village Dzhusaly Kzyl-Orda region, Kazakhstan. He studied at the Vitebsk art school (1932), V. Volkov, F. Vogt, M., Anda, V. Khrustalev. Participant of exhibitions since 1932. Member of the Belarusian Union of artists since 1933. He lives in Minsk.
