Dmitrievich Emelyanov

Meeting Of Nikolay Yemelyanov D. (1903-1938?), our great countryman, while only making the first steps in the art of the artist , such a master as Kropiwnicki appeared to him decisive in the choice of profession. Shortly after leaving in 1923 Kropiwnicki from Tyumen (in the future, his work will take place in Moscow), Emelyanov sent to St. Petersburg. Studies at the Academy of fine arts, friendship with such masters as A. Karev, V. Pakulin, A. Rusakov, A. Pakhomov has honed his talent. As a member of the artistic Association "Circle of artists", he takes an active part in exhibitions, which are held in Petrograd, Moscow, Kiev. Known for high assessment of his work by the French artist Marc A., visiting an art exhibition in the Russian Museum in 1934. 30 years Emelyanov was repressed, a large part of his artistic heritage was lost.
