Natalia Liang was born in Leningrad. She received her primary art education in Leningrad Art School No. 2.
From 2002 to 2010 studied at the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Department of Painting). In 2008 she graduated from the specialty, in 2010 a master's degree with a qualification of “Master of Art Education”. Graduation theses were devoted to panoramic views of the Summer Garden (painting: oil, tempera), and the theoretical part, master's thesis, to views of the Summer Garden in a print of the 18th-19th centuries.
Since 2004, she worked in St. Petersburg Children's Art School No. 2 as a teacher of painting. In 2008, she received the highest qualification category, became the winner of the city competition “Pedagogical hope-2008” (founder of the Committee on Culture of St. Petersburg). Since 2018 he has been working in St. Petersburg Children's Art School named after D.S. Bortnyansky teacher of the art department. In 2019, she took part in the X International Professional Competition of Pedagogical Artists “Palette of Methodological Ideas” in the nomination “Project” (RSPU named after A.I. Herzen, St. Petersburg).
During the teaching activities, she prepared the following winners: 5 - Grand Prix of the international competition, 3 laureates of international competitions, 2 laureates of all-Russian competitions, 2 laureates, 1 diploma winner of regional competitions, 2 winners of district competitions.
She participated in reports at 2 international scientific and practical conferences: “Art and Dialogue of Cultures” (2009, 2010, St. Petersburg), and publications, collections. She took part in the All-Russian NPK “Generation of the new millennium: strategies for raising and educating children and youth in the system of additional education” (2019, GBNOU DUM SPb).
Since 2009, she participated in 5 professional city art exhibitions-contests, 1 All-Russian exhibition, 1 international exhibition "70:70. Dialogue of Russian and Chinese artists" as part of the PEMF-2019 cultural program.
She became a winner in 2 international competitions and exhibitions (St. Petersburg, 2012, laureate of the 2nd degree; 2013 - diploma winner), in 1 interregional academic competition (Moscow, 2018, diploma winner), in 1 city competition "Teacher-Creator" (St. Petersburg, 2019, 1 a place).
