Description of the artwork «Golden cage»
I captured the epoch-making moment when during isolation people and animals switched places. It seems to me that they don’t miss us at all. After all, while we are at home, nature breathes more freely.
In addition, during self-isolation, a person can at least partially feel the "charms" of being in a confined space. I hope this experience will be a step towards banning circuses and making zoos more humane.
At first, I planned to write only the sky, crossed by golden bars. Thinking about the picture, I looked out the window, and at that moment a tit flew up to him (thanks to the feeder on the windowsill she is my frequent guest). At this moment, the idea of the picture took shape completely.
The price is without a frame. Possible selection of baguette.
The cell is intentionally solved in a decorative manner, it shares two realities: the reality of the viewer, who unwittingly ended up behind bars, and the reality of the outside world.
