From now on, internet users are free to download artworks images from the collection of the National Galleries of Scotland that has over 96,000 objects at the disposal. New website has an intuitive interface and shows more than 40,000 high resolution images including all of the Collection’s most significant artworks. The images of the remainder will be available online over the next five years.
The National Galleries of Scotland has the artworks by Titian and Botticelli, drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, watercolors by William Turner, paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, Rene Magritte, Paul Delvaux, Pablo Picasso and many others.

The Search feature has been enhanced, now you can find detailed information about artists and each artwork as well as relevant materials including related artworks, features, current and past exhibitions, events etc.
