St. Petersburg state Museum-Institute of the Roerich family, Saint Petersburg
Since 2003, the Museum-Institute of the Roerich family has been located in a mansion that belonged to the famous artist and collector Mikhail Petrovich Botkin (1839-1914).
2001 marked the 100th anniversary of the wedding of the Roerichs (October 28, 1901, old style). And in the year of the centenary of this amazing family, the Museum-Institute of the Roerich Family in St. Petersburg was established in its homeland, the founder of which was Lyudmila Stepanovna Mitusova (1910-2004).
The basis of the memorial exhibition is made up of the heritage preserved by L.S. Mitusova and her family.
