The Museum of Children's Fine Arts of the Peoples of Siberia and the Far East - the first children's art museum in Russia - was founded in 1981.

This kind of cultural institution is a repository of works of children and professional artists, an educational and research institution, in whose activities the methods of art, pedagogy and cultural and educational work are closely intertwined.

The uniqueness of the museum is determined by the concept that aims to show children's creativity in the context of the traditions of Siberian art culture.

The museum funds contain more than 8 thousand exhibits. Many of the collections are unique.
