Jean Bourdichon (c.1457-1521, Tours) / Jean Bourdichon - French artist, the most talented of the students of the outstanding painter Jean Fouquet (c.1420-c.1481). He worked in Tours with several of the ruling persons, including Charles VIII, Louis XII and Anna of Breton, who was the wife of one, then the other. For this queen, Burdishon performed the most famous work of his own - “The Great Hortology of Anna Breton”.
