Biography and information

  Edit
Svetlana is a Russian graphic artist.
Svetlana has a creative pseudonym: VOSK

She creates unique sheets of graphic as well as series of graphic, united by a specific theme.

It is interesting that Svetlana does many artworks without preliminary sketches, directly on the sheet. She sees one of the main tasks of her work in capturing a moment, an instant, a mood, an atmosphere, a special state, an emotion.
Svetlana works mainly in graphic techniques, since it is the laconic language of graphics that makes it possible to capture the moment "without unnecessary words."

The artist finds in everyday life something interesting, beautiful and even philosophical and skillfully expresses it in the language of art, which is understandable to everyone.

The artist is inspired to creativity by the diversity of life and environment, such as city life motives, recreation on the beach or in a cafe, people`s emotions.
The theme of gymnastics and fitness has a special place in Svetlana`s work. She considers these themes as a "field of opportunities" to experiment with silhouettes, lines, shapes. In her graphic series, devoted to the themes of gymnastics and fitness, you may see complete, generalized, graceful and very expressive female images and silhouettes.
