Paintings of Elvira Kovaleva implemented in multilayer technique of monotype, acrylic, which gives the effect of pastel blur. A similar technique Elvira began to learn under the impression of the monastic 15th-century frescoes. I found myself once in the North, rich in picturesque monuments of the past, Elvira was deeply imbued with the pure art of the Russian middle ages. This so impressed the artist that upon returning home, wanted certainly at least try to create something similar.
