A dream of a better life (fragment of the film "Timelessness. Light")

Video by Oleg Karpov and Umida Akhmedova "Dreams of a better life" (Fragment from the documentary film "Timeless Light"). The exhibition "The official nature of dreams."
The video consists of two parts: in the first, the camera follows the woman with the balls. In the second, we go to an exhibition of portraits of the 1st President of Uzbekistan, which brought a tour from a boarding school for children with special needs. The authors illustrate how people, in real life, excluded from public life and seemingly unnoticed by the authorities in today's society of Uzbekistan, were cited for an exhibition dedicated to this authority. Paradoxical dream, which has become our familiar reality.
At the exhibition, the screen with the video of the artists turned out to be sealed with the words "The display is not appropriate" imitating printing. This curatorial move is a sarcastic reference to the actions of the authorities of Uzbekistan, which did not give departure to artists who spoke on political and social topics, explaining that by “inexpediency.” Such methods were subjected for 7 years to the curator, Vyacheslav Akhunov, who was not given an exit visa, and on the eve of the exhibition, Timur Karpov himself (one of the authors), who was not issued a foreign passport for 3 months)
