Description of the artwork «21.00 PM»
Everyone grows up watching their parents. For a girl to become a woman, her mother's influence is invaluable. At an early age, literally all items of closet, cosmetics, accessories arouse interest and are a symbol of adulthood and femininity. So in the picture we see a girl who secretly uses her mother's lipstick. In the reflection of the mirror she represents herself as an adult (and looks, of course, like her mother). The red cat is a witness to what is happening, he sees both worlds - the world of fantasy and reality, the past and the future. The woman in the foreground is depicted in a symbolic bra in the form of music records - information "recorded and transmitted with the milk of the mother". This painting is about the continuity of generations, about the mystique of childhood fantasies, about the transition between the imaginary and the real, about childhood.
