Nar. hood. Of the USSR (1957), full member AH the USSR (1949). After graduating from Petersburg. AH (1913). In 1916-35 and 1947-60 taught at Petrograd. AH – Leningrad. Variety - the Repin Institute of arts in 1948 and a Professor. Participant of exhibitions since 1917. Developed the traditions of Russian Acad. school. The sculpture "Stalin and Voroshilov" (1933), "October" (1935), "On the streets of Leningrad during the siege" (1941-43), "Mother" (1946), the statue of Lenin Volkhov hydroelectric power plant (1935), the monuments of N..Nekrasov (1922), N.G.Chernyshevsky (1947), I. P. Pavlov (1953), A. S. Griboyedov (1959) in Leningrad and other works. The Winner Of The St. Ave. (1942).

A. Beklemishev. He taught at the Academy (1916-29; 1947-60, Professor from 1948). Students: N. Tomsky, V. I. Ingal, M. F. Baburin and others In his work (carefully modeled portraits, monuments, genre scenes) Lishev Vsevolod Vsevolodovich developed traditions of the Russian academic school of the late 19th and early 20th century Works: portraits of A. P. Khanzhonkov (bronze, 1926) and D. I. Mendeleev (marble, 1952), "Mother" (bronze, 1945-46) — all three in Russian Museum in Leningrad, the monument to N. G. Chernyshevsky in Leningrad (bronze, opened in 1947; the model figure for a monument — bronze, 1940, Tret gallery; State prize of the USSR, 1942). Awarded the order of Lenin.
