Painter, honored. worker of arts of RSFSR (1967). Graduated from the Leningrad. The vkhutein (1928), pupil of O. Braz, V. Savinsky. From 1930 he taught at the Repin Institute of arts in 1948 and a Professor. Participated in exhibitions since 1928. Member of the society "Circle of artists" (1928-32). Paintings "Motherhood" (1930), "a Foundry of the Baltic plant" (1933), series "Landscapes of Karelia" (1935-38), "Neva" (1941), "the Murmansk coast" (1949), "Summer. Toilers of the sea" (1966-68), "Twilight" (1973), etc.
