Alekseevich Babitsyn

Was born in Leningrad. From 1939 he studied at the Moscow secondary art school, immediately drawing the attention of talent and creative temperament. Brilliantly graduated from the Moscow state art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. For pictorial work "Escorted. 1942" was awarded a silver medal of Academy of arts. The author of the famous series of etudes "literary Moscow". Member of the painting section of the Moscow branch of Union of artists since 1960. Participant of all-Union, all-Russian, Moscow and international exhibitions. The works of Victor Babitsyna stored in the State Tretyakov gallery, the Museum of history and reconstruction of Moscow, the Museum of the great Patriotic war on Poklonnaya hill, the art Museum named after M. V. Nesterov, Russian art galleries and private collections.
