Konstantin
Sergeevich Bokarev

Born in the village of Pershino Pestyakovskiy district of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk industrial region. Member of the Union of artists of the RSFSR in 1958. In 1945-1947 he studied at the Ivanovo art College in 1947-1951 years in Palekh art school. In 1951-1988, he worked at the Association of Palekh artists (1954 - Palekh art-production workshops). In the years 1976-1979 taught at the Palekh art school.

Engaged in painting of porcelain and book illustration. Themes of works: folklore, history, literature, genre scenes, revolutionary battle. Participant of exhibitions since 1955.

The works of K. S. Bokarev stored in gmpi, GRM, MNI, SHAMS, Ivanovo OXM, OXM Irkutsk, Irkutsk, OKM, GMAN, Pgaas, Reims, Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin "Moika 12", DEM, HF Russia.
