Alexander
Stepanovich Zharkov

Born in the city of Samara. Studied at the Kazan art school N. T.Feshin, P. A. Radimov and H. N. Skornyakova. In 1915 without completing of training, was drafted into the Army. Participant of first world and civil wars. From 1921 to 1938 he lived in Nizhneudinsk. In 1938 he moved to Irkutsk.
