Gennady
Kirillovich Tarski

He graduated with honors from the Kazan art school, then the Academy of fine arts in Latvia, where he was the favorite pupil of people's artist of Latvia Janis Tillberga.

Since 1955, Gennady Tarski lived and worked in Barnaul, in the Altai branch of the CP of the RSFSR, led the art of Home educators. Unfortunately, much of the creative heritage of the artist had failed to save.

The organizers of the exhibition gallery "Carmine" was able to identify and collect 75 paintings and graphic works of the artist, who passed away 25 years ago. The exhibition includes the most significant genre painting of Gennady Tarski "the Transportation of the monolith Jasper in Kolyvanskiy stone-cutting factory", made in 1961 (from private collection), a deeply psychological portrait of a beloved teacher. Tillberga, charismatic female characters, among them a surprisingly delicate "Portrait of wife", harmonious lyrical landscapes of neighborhoods of Kolyvan and Barnaul.
