Born in the village of the Village of Palekh district, Ivanovo region. Member of the Union of artists of the RSFSR in 1989. In 1963-1968 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - N.M.Zinoviev, B. M. Nemtinov, M. I. Shemarov, V. I. Astakhov. In the 1970-1989 years, he worked in the Palekh art-production workshops. Since 1990 he has taught in Palekh art school. In 1991-1992, he participated in the creation of the iconostasis of the Church of Elijah the Prophet in Palekh.
Was engaged in monumental painting (the Palace of pioneers in the city of Belovo of the Kemerovo region (1984), reading room town library in the town of Kamyshin of the Vologda region (1984)). Themes of works: folklore, literature, hunting, three. Participant of exhibitions since 1974.
