Biography and information

Born in the village of Kuzminki, Tutaev district, Yaroslavl region. She studied at the Yaroslavl art school (1954-1959) A. mazitova, P. Krokodila, A. Kichigina, M. Sebastiania. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1968, honored artist of Russia since 1977.

Participant of art exhibitions since 1962. The artist's works are exhibited at the all-Russian, interregional, regional, international exhibitions. Solo exhibition of drawings and paintings was held in Moscow (1994, 1997), Vologda (1998), Cherepovets (1998, 1999), Trento (Italy) (1971), Saint Niklaas (Belgium) (1974), Raahe (Finland) (1984).

He has lived in Cherepovets in the Vologda region since 1963. His works are in art museums of Arkhangelsk, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Kirov, Syktyvkar , Yaroslavl, in the State Tretyakov gallery in Moscow, Museum-reserves and museums of local lore of the Vologda region. The main collection of the artist's works are kept in the Vologda regional picture gallery, Cherepovets Museum Association.

The artist works in the engraving (woodcut, monotype, linocut) printmaking, book illustration and book mark; engaged in a pattern and watercolor in the genres of portrait, landscape, narrative compositions; in 1980-1990-ies engaged in painting in the genre of landscape, still life, portrait.

Core mounted prints in the technique of woodcut 1960-1980-ies devoted to images and motifs of Ancient Russia, the monuments of the Kirillo-Belozersky and Ferapontov monasteries, Cherepovets. The artist designed books of poetry N. M.Rubcova (1973, 1975, 1990), V. V. Korotaeva (1975, 1978), A. A. Romanov (1979), an anthology of poems by Russian and Soviet poets about mother - "Mother" (1979).

1963 transfer to a permanent job in Cherepovets, starting at the Cherepovets branch of Vologda branch of the Art Fund of the RSFSR, the first part in regional art exhibition.

1965, buying a home in the village of Zagorje on Typenol hill near Ferapontov, work began on a series of works dedicated to the Kirillo-Belozersky and Mauro and Ferapontov monasteries.

1968 became a member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

1974 solo exhibition of works in Belgium (St-Niklaas).

1977 awarded the title "Honored artist of the RSFSR".

1979 creative business trip to Hungary at the Biennale of printed
