Born in 1946 in the city of Kalinin. In 1975 he graduated from Ryazan art school and entered the Moscow art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. Member of the Union of artists of Russia. In 1980 came in Kalininskiy (Tverskoy) art school named Venetsianov.
