In 1819 defined in the Academy of fine arts. Received medals: in 1825 – 2 silver; in 1828 – 1 silver; in 1830 – 2 gold for the "project majestic temple with wheel houses and a ceremonial monument"; in 1833 – 1 gold for the "project of a building for the residence of a wealthy landowner". In 1830 was granted a diploma of 1 degree and a sword. In 1834 sent to the pensioner of the Academy of arts abroad. In 1840, the title of academician for the "restoration of the Roman Forum". In 1841 appointed to attend the Moscow Commission for buildings. Senior architect Board IV County of Railways. In 1863 the honorary free member of the Academy of arts.
