Vladimir Vasilyevich Lebedev (14 (26) may 1891 — 21 November 1967) — a Soviet artist, painter and graphic artist, a recognized master of the poster, book and magazine illustrations; mostly known for his works in the genre of children's book illustrations. People's artist of the RSFSR, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of arts.

The author of numerous easel graphic works which have become classics of graphic art. Also illustrated the poems of Samuil Marshak "Circus", "Ice cream", "silly little mouse", "baleen striped", "Coloured book", "Twelve months", "baggage".

Wife — people's artist of the USSR Nadezhda Nadezhdina Sergeevna (her parents — the writer and playwright A. J., brustein and physiotherapist, Professor S. A. brustein).
