He studied at the art Studio of the 5th army in Omsk art and industry College named. M. A. Vrubel in Omsk (1920-1924), in VHUTEIN (Leningrad), Alexander Savinov (1924-1929). Thesis "Working". Member of the Association "Circle of artists" (1924-1932). He painted portraits and still lifes. Engaged in book and magazine graphics, participated in creating the festive decoration of Leningrad. Peter Osolodkov received in Omsk a nickname "Black" for the dark color of their skin, was friendly with the artists, part of the group "Chervonnaya Troika".
