Alexandrovich Leonov

The artist with a difficult life, so we can say about Aleksandr Leonov. In the years 1930-1934 he studied at the Moscow izotehnikum memory 1905. one of the best landscape painters of the 20th century, N. P.Krymov. In 1934. was arrested and exiled to Solovki. Went through the war from the ordinary strafbataillon to a technician-Builder in the Royal engineers.Was re-sentenced on old charges in 1951. and finally rehabilitated in 1969. Participant of regional and inter-regional exhibitions. In 2004 he had his solo exhibition from the collections of the Ivanovo art Museum and the private collection of J. B. Marushkina.
