Honored artist of Russia. He graduated from the Institute. I. E. Repin Academy of arts of the USSR in 1967, a member of the Union of artists of the USSR. One of the most influential masters of woodcuts, gave the case more than 40 years of his life. Illustrated more than 60 books, many of which were awarded with diplomas at the all-Russian competitions of art books. The artist's works were exhibited in more than 200 exhibitions in our country and abroad - in Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Czech Republic etc.

Prints are in the collections of the Tretyakov gallery, Pushkin Museum, museums of Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Kiev, etc. Fifty-prints are in the Museum world drawings the Albertina in Vienna. Fifty engravings by the master and stored in the collections of the Krasnoarmeyskiy art gallery.
