After receiving basic education at the Moscow school of painting and sculpture (1833-1839) (specialty and, accordingly, the word "architecture" appears in the name of the School in 1865), Karl-Friedrich Petrovich Beaudry was awarded the title of the artist after his graduation. However, some time since 1843 K.-F. Beaudry visited in St. Petersburg volnoprihodyaschim student of the Academy of arts. Life Beaudry lived mainly in Moscow, where he created his major works. The artist worked in a variety of genres, demonstrated by a list of some of his works: self-Portrait (1839), Rural view (1840), Sculptor Vitali at work (1841), a Study by P. Y. Skill Beaudry to 1850 years has increased so much that he could claim the title of first "designated" in academics (awarded in 1857), then academician (1860), which the artist received for submitted to the Council of the Academy of painting "the Procession from the Annunciation Cathedral in the Moscow Kremlin". The title of academician of painting in the XIX century was a very honorable and brings tangible benefits. And yet above all, it indicated a certain level of skill of the artist. K.-F. Beaudry performed their works in those days, when Russian art was famous for the names of their painters. Of course, the artist was inferior to many of them. He was a solid master of the "second tier", as evidenced by his work in many museums around the country.
