L. A. Davydova was born in 1950 in the city of Podolsk, Moscow region.
In 1975 graduated from the Moscow art school memory 1905, in 1984 – Moscow state art Institute named after V. I. Surikov, Department of monumental painting. Since 1987 member of the Union of artists of Russia. Since 1980, regularly participates in major international, all-Union, all-Russia, Republican, zonal, regional, city, and group and solo exhibitions.
L. A. Davydova is one of the leading artists of artists of Russia, Member of Union of artists of Russia since 1987, the veteran of work. Davydov, Catherine II Grigory Potemkin and other works from the series on historical and Patriotic theme: WWI and the great Patriotic war: a painting of "the Last cherry", the painting "the Soldier", the diptych "My grandfather. Two photos," painting "the Road to Yukhnov" and others. The artist's last years he continued working on a series of paintings "the History of everyday life".
