Born in Nizhny Novgorod. He graduated from the Moscow art College of Memory 1905 (1949-1954) and the Academy of arts of the Latvian SSR (1954-1960). Worked in the field of genre paintings. A member of the Union of Russian artists since 1964. Since 1958 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga" 1964, 1967, 1970, 1974 ), Republican (Moscow 1958, 1965, 1967) art exhibitions.
