Varlamovich Margiani

One of the most interesting painters of the 70-ies Valeri Margiani was born in Svaneti 1941. He graduated from the Tbilisi art College. He continued his studies at the Tbilisi Academy of arts, painting Department under the guidance of Ucha Japaridze. After he studied in graduate school. Member of the Union of artists. Member of the international Association of artists at UNESCO. Among the top ten accomplished artists of the USSR. His painting is on permanent display in the Tretyakov gallery. Margiani paintings are stored in museums of many countries of the world and in private collections.
