Petrovich Chuprin

Born in the village of Korsun, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Kharkov art uchilische im. Samokish and HHI (studied in M. Shaposhnikov, E. Egorov, L. Chernov). A member of the CFS since 1960. The honored worker of arts of Crimea. In 1990 he was promoted to the rank of honored artist of Ukraine, but did not receive it because of lost during the collapse of the Soviet Union documents. From 1956 he lived and worked in the Crimea. One of the best works of the artist "portrait of the wife" (1959) is in the Louvre, France.
