Engineer, teacher and theoretician of architecture. He graduated from the Nicholas ing. Academy in St. Petersburg. (1901). In 1902-05 he studied at the architectural. the Department of AH. Author Diss. work "the Rational in modern architecture" (1905). Specialist in bridge construction, prom. str-VA. The most outstanding buildings in St. Petersburg: mansion S. N. Chaeva (1906-07, St x-ray, 9) and the complex of buildings of the Central scientific.-tech. lab military. office (1909-14, Main St., 8/3). 1920 – Professor of the Military.-ing. Academy of the red army. In 1913-14 together. with architect. M. V. Krasovsky built trees. TS. The Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in Vyritsa G. p. (Avenue of Kirov, 49). Participated in the design of the Volkhov and Svir'stroy. Died in Leningrad and buried at the Bolsheokhtinsky cemetery.
