A native of s. elechey Megino-Kangalassky ulus, painter, graduated from the painting Department of the Leningrad art Institute. I. E. Repin (workshop of A. D. Zaitsev). Painter, laureate of the Komsomol of the Republic honored artist of the Sakha(Yakutia), a member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1977, Studying in College, was a leader in the group, have worked hard, made progress in painting and drawing. Painting of Mykola Pavlov is full of the subtlest colour, painterly brush strokes and richness of color and light. His paintings "snowdrop", "farm", "in memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Fyodor Popov", "Lacascia old", "Valley Alecia", "Golden silence" went into the Treasury of the Yakut art. He was a member of the Union of artists of the RSFSR. Participant of numerous art exhibitions. Had a solo exhibition in Iceland. He teaches in the Yakut art College in 1976.
