(1886.18.Sep – 1958.25.June in Riga), painter, scenographer.

He studied at the Central school of technical drawing of Baron Stieglitz in St. Petersburg (1906 – 12), where he completed class painting Teatralnoy scenery.

Participates in exhibitions since 1913

He exposed his works at exhibitions of the artists ' group "Belaya Vorona" in Valmiera, Latvia 1919

Memorable exhibitions are organized in Riga together with her daughter and granddaughter, the artists to suit Kundzins Ieva and Anna Romanov in 1986 and 1990

A member of group of independent artists 1923 – 1940.

Member of the artists Union of Latvia since 1946

Worked as a teacher in different cities of Russia and Latvia from 1905 – 1938

Created stage design of the productions at the New Riga theatre and at the National Opera.

Worked in painting, poster and applied art, press and illustrated books, the set designer. In painting was primarily a landscape painter, where the emotional focus was on the reflection of the clouds. This natural phenomenon is a large part of the compositions of the artist.

The style of painting. Kundzinsh romantically realistic.

The master wrote the book "Perspective" .
