He was born in Odessa. Began drawing at 2 years. In the late 1960s, he studied at the famous Odessa artist O. Freidin. Some time worked as a restorer and painter in the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. In 1988 emigrated to USA, settled in San Francisco, where he opened his own school of painting. Exhibitions of the artist took place in the Vatican, Vienna, Athens, Tokyo, Paris, Odessa, San Francisco, Baltimore, etc., By order of Pope John Paul 11 made a number of icons, which are now in the collection of the Vatican.
